NIXA, Mo. -- The Missouri State Highway Patrol is looking for the driver of a vehicle that troopers say hit a man from Highlandville. Benjamin Gipson is in serious condition after he was hit while trying to remove an animal from U.S. 160/Missouri 13 just south of Nixa on Sunday night. Troopers say the driver and his vehicle left the scene.
