Nevada, MO - A Nevada man arrested Tuesday during a traffic stop in Vernon County was charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of an explosive weapon, unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of a controlled substance. Vernon County deputies say when 22 year old Stormy Miller was arrested, they found a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic pistol in the front of his pants. In the car he was riding in, deputies say they found more clips for the gun, a container of bullets, a homemade explosive, drugs, baggies and scales. He's held in the Vernon County jail. Deputies say he had warrants for his arrest when he was stopped, and is a person of interest in burglaries in the area.
